So what I would like to achieve is when I selected a block of texts using shift-v, is it possible to read the starting and ending lines' line number within command mode? (Something like we could read the current buffer's filename with % and also the file's path, etc.) As if it is possible, I would like to use that and feed it directly into other commands like as argument, something like sed which then could go directly to those line ranges I've selected, so that I wouldn't need to re-enter the starting and ending point of a file.
