Vim has the commands zg and zw to mark a word as good (correctly spelled) or bad (incorrectly spelled), respectively. Is there a similar command to mark a word as rarely-used?

(It’s possible to manually append the word plus /? to the spell file, but this is a lot less convenient than just putting the cursor on the word and typing a couple of keys.)

As far as I can see, you can't :-(

I see no mention in :h spell.txt, the spell_add_word() function in spell.c has no parameter for it, and the only references to ? I see in that file are when reading the spell file, not writing it.

The good news is that it's probably not hard to patch and add a :spellrare command (which you could then map to a key yourself).
